Levi has been scheduled for follow-up surgery tomorrow, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. EST here at UT. Based on advice from Atlanta, the doctors here will try to improve the current repair. In brief the doctors in Atlanta are guardedly optimistic about the heart's (and lungs' to a certain extent) ability to rebound over time and feel we should make an attempt to do the most complete repair the present anatomy will allow. Then we'll just have to see how his body responds. Please keep this in prayer, especially over the next 24 hours.

Our prayers are with you all and the doctors and nurses as well that are caring for little Levi.
God is in controll and He is our GREAT HEALER! Thanks to God that He can work so well through our competent doctors here on earth.
We love you dearly,
Gerhard and Trish
We hang on your updates and thank you for keeping us abreast of all the happenings.

I check the blog at least 3 times a day and thank you for the updates. Levi, you and the rest of your family remain in my (and many other's) prayers.
As difficult as it is, I hope that you and Matt are getting some rest.

Rejoice in hope, be patient under trial, persevere in prayer...Romans 12:12

We will take Levi & your family to the Greeneville SDA Church ~ Seniors Prayer Meeting that meets Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. & 12:00 noon and our Study Group (the one your Mom & Dad attend) that meets Wednesday evening. We will pray specifically for those attending Levi. We will pray that his little body will respond well to the treatment plan that has been put in place, but we also ask for the courage, strength and faith that will bring your family through this very difficult time.
Eph.3:20 "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us..."
With continued love and prayers, Milton and Ann Siepman
