Day of rest

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. ...

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:7-18

Sorry we cannot respond to everyone personally, but we really appreciate all your messages, encouragement and, especially, prayers.

Larisa and Family,
We are friends of your Mom & Dad.
We have been following your postings faithfully and our hearts go out to you all. Our prayers have been assending daily and a host of angels are camped round for your comfort and peace. Our God is a God of miracles and also perfect timing. Sometimes we just cannot understand or make sense of the will of God as hard as we would like to. We stand in faith with you guys that God, in his infinite wisdom, will figure all this out and plot a course that only He can do.
Blessings of peace we send to you and faith to stand on God's word as truth.

We love you dearly.

Praying for you and your family as you trust in God at this difficult time. Levi is in the hands of the Great Physician and that is the best place to be. I pray your "inner self is being renewed day by day" and God will give you His strength and comfort you with His peace.

I just want to let you know that people all over the world are praying for this little loved one.

In fact I already pray for him for 1 1/2 year, but especially the last couple of days after I received an email from Mandy explaining about the situation.

I will continue to pray for Levi (Timothy) and I truly believe sometimes miracles happen.

I wish you strength in this difficult time of live.

Greetings from Holland, Alibert Bok.

Larisa and family,
we are praying for Levi and your whole family. I know we have a God who can see the whole picture, and that we can hold onto Him and He can guide us through the worst of times. Just keep hanging on to Him.
Love,

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (John 10:10,11)

I'm so sorry to hear about all the complications. Keep up your courage and strength.

With prayers,
Brian
