I'm sitting here at my dining room table watching our first real snowfall of the winter drift down outside the window. The dog is sleeping on one end of the couch and Levi is sitting at the other, lacing my green knitted scarf through his fingers.

Since we've gotten home from the hospital, everything has been a whirlwind of going back to work, taking care of Levi, trying not to neglect the rest of our children, catching what never seems like enough sleep. It's a lot of work, getting back to normal.

But today I get to stop—toys still scattered around the house, a sink full of dirty dishes—and just watch and be. It is a day to remember how incredible the past three weeks have been, how wonderful it is to be on the other side, how blessed I am to have my family, my son.

The snow, this day, the life I have been privileged to lead ... it is a gift, a miracle.

Thank you for taking the care and effort to let us see God work in your world. You are great warriors for God. You are heros to His children. Your lives inspire and energize us.

Levi is home and healing. God is good indeed.

Love,
Mike and Lisa
