Check-up

Well, we've been bumping along the last couple of weeks. After all the excitement and drama of the hospital it's me that has been crashing, so I've not had much energy to live life and keep up the blog. But it finally feels like things are returning to normal.

Last week, however, wasn't the best for Levi. He would periodically start crying and grabbing his chest, his appetite lagged and he was lethargic. Thursday was his regular follow-up appointment with the cardiologist, and we discovered that in the process of his recovery his pacemaker hasn't been doing the job. It was periodically dropping from his regular heart-rate, set by his atrium, at about 110-120 beats per minute to 60. They called the pacemaker rep in a hurry, he changed the settings, and Levi has been a completely different kid ever since. He literally got off my lap after his pacemaker interrogation and started running around, laughing, talking, yelling. He is now as energetic as he was before surgery.

Prayer request
I have a prayer request for the blogosphere. One of our church members requested prayer for a friend of his daughter's in Mexico. She is seven years old, and she preaches at her church. She has been diagnosed with bone cancer. We have a Spanish-speaking congregation who has prayed for Levi and knows his story. Jesus (the church member) asked that you please remember Diana Laura Golisia in your prayers.
