Well, I think this might be the happiest day of my life.

Since coming off the ventilator, Levi has rested better than ever, with less drugs—a few kicking episodes and a giant poop excepted. Upon request, he waved at one of his nurses. And just an hour ago, still tethered by an array of IVs, monitor wires and tubes, he locked his eyes on me and offered a real, genuine, toothy smile.

It has been a wonderful day.

"Such joyful joyfulness, such happy happiness!" says Hannah and Judah's favorite story of Jesus raising the little girl to life. Touche.

Sweet rest to my precious daughter and her spunky little son.

Praise God! Rosie and I just had to get down on our knees and praise the Lord for the wonderful news. Yesterday, Rosie and I were in Lowe's and Rosie had a lady in the main aisle praying for Levi. It's seems as though thats all she thinks about is to pray for him. Rosie places her hand on Levi's picture on the computer screen and prays for him. When she's finished praying she puts her hand up to the Lord and says Amen. You are and will remain in our prayers. If you need anything, please let us know.

Psalms 107:27-31;
27. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. 28. Then they cry unto the Lord in their, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. 29. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. 30. Then are they are glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. 31. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Dear Levi,

It looks like it won’t be long before you can play the piano again and sing “Yes, Jesus loves me so”.

What a miracle is happening through you. A lot of people have been praying, and still are, for your recovery and God is hearing listening to their prayers. And this miracle is not only healing you, but it is helping a lot of people by strengthen their faith in The Lord.

Maybe you can start learning to play and sing a song called, “Thank you Jesus”. I would love to see this on YouTube as well.

I hope you will recover quickly and be able to play and have fun again. And also to cuddle and hug your parents and loved ones again. They need and deserve it, especially your Mom and Dad. It must have been a hard time for them.

A lot of kisses for you,

Alibert

Hi Larisa,
William was with 4 of our kids and some Mums on the way back from their medicals in Kampala tonight when I phoned him.
There was a lot of rejoicing as they realized that Levi Timothy was breathing on his own. There will be a worship time in Jinja today (tonight).
I saw his musical video tonight and was surprised at how much he has grown up since I saw him last May.
Praise God you had a wonderful day. It wont be long till all the tubes and monitors are gone.
We have asked for prayer for him in the new newsletter.
Blessings
Mandy

How beautiful (and forgiving) the heart of a child. Levi's journal will make a wonderful book for everyone facing 'the valley'! A story of faith and courage and abundant love. We are grateful to have been able to read these chapters as you have written them. We look forward to many more. With love and prayers for this new day, Milton and Ann

Wonderful! Levi's smile is contagious as I imagine everyone who saw it and read about it or heard about smiled a huge grin, too. We are so happy to hear this news. Continuing to pray,

I can't wait to see his smile when you get a chance to pull out that camera again. Tell Levi there are many happy people around the world now that he is smiling.

Hi Larisa,

So happy to hear Levi is doing well! What trials you've been through! Jay and I didn't know any of this was happening until we heard about it from John and Morey in church this past Sabbath - John gave us this address.

The Lord is certainly providing you and Matt with courage. We pray that His presence will continue to strengthen you both and Levi.

We miss seeing you here in Greeneville at David and Donna's prayer meetings - but maybe we'll see you when we get up to visit one of David's churches. In the meantime, we'll continue to pray for Levi's continued healing. And continue to hold you and Matt up in prayer.

Blessings,
Donna and Jay Small
