Levi had done well as they have lowered his gasses (o2 from 100 to 30 and nitrous from 20 to 0) Last night, however, he took a little dip. They are still going to try and wean him from vent but it is a challenging and take a few days. On a positive note, this morning's echo looked good and they pulled one of his chest tubes.

Larisa, I first heard about Levi's condition/surgery and about your blog from my sister Peg. I've been checking it frequently ever since and praying for Levi, as well as for you and Matt. (He's also been added to our prayer list at Crossroads Naz.) I rejoice in reading of his progress and, most of all, in seeing how God's grace has given you such strength and peace in the midst of the storm.

In His love,

We hang on to the good things and do our best to leave the bad things in God's hands. Praying for healing, rest, and a legion of angels to be attending Levi today.
With love and prayers, Milton and Ann

You don't know me but I am a friend of Deanne Nix. I make mission trips to Haiti and would love to adopt so Deanne shares with me about your lovely family. She gave me this link so I could read about Levi because I ask her every day. Please know my family and my church are praying for Levi's recovery and strength for your family. What a great witness and testimony of God's love you are!!! May He richly bless and keep you all. Sincerely, Dawn Moore, First Church of God

Levi, Matt, and Larisa,

Just found your blog and have read each entry.

Being out of the state right now has made me feel out of the loop as to how Levi was doing. But, I've prayed continually for him, the doctors, and the entire family as I know this is a trial for each of you. I know our God is carrying each of you and I praise Him for it!

Have asked prayer of the church here in NC for all of you (and of numerous friends of ours). So glad to hear Levi is doing better.

Please be sure to get the rest you need so you can maintain your strength.

Love, Mary Ann W.
