Just went in to see Levi. He looks good, is on 50% oxygen and holding his own. He's on the nitrous oxide, but they plan to pull him off that tomorrow. The permanent pacemaker they put in is already malfunctioning, so they're trying to figure out the settings, but it appears to be a minor problem and everything else looks good. The doctors seem really relieved and are talking about trying to take him off the vent by tomorrow night and get him eating, etc. So far this seems like a really different situation than the last time. We are really happy and thankful.

50% already Wow!!! That's great. I am so relieved to hear it sounds so much more positive this time. I was so thrilled to see they were able to wean him off the nitric this AM too. I really do hope the little guy can be extubated tomorrow and start heading back to normal. I'll keep praying and checking updates tomorrow.

Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;
He answers him from His holy heaven
with the saving power of His right hand.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God

I know that there's still a ways to go, but it sounds like things are much more positive. I'm still praying, along with countless others.

Just going to bed and checked on Levi first. How wonderful to get the good news! He comes to mind all day long and then we pray.
Hope his Mom and Dad can get some much needed rest tonight! We're so happy he's doing much better. Thank you, dear Jesus!

We heard about this site 4 days ago and cannot keep away from it. I check it first thing in the a.m. and last thing at night. Thanks for keeping us that live far away posted. We LOVE Levi and the rest of the fam. You are all lifted up daily.
