Still in a holding pattern.

The cardiologist hasn't been by yet, we presume he's waiting to get some kind of word from the center in Atlanta. Levi has had a very restless morning and the pacemaker ran out of battery, which made for a very exciting few moments as his atrium kept beating without much response from his ventricle. One thing this confirmed: he needs a pacemaker.

Other than that, no changes except that he continues to get stronger. He looks beautiful, his skin is Ugandan black for the first time since we've known him. He continues to thrive on 60 percent oxygen. They're backing off the doses of lasik and have pulled one of his blood pressure monitors. He is spiking a bit of a fever now and then, and they're putting him on an antibiotic. And he keeps waking up. Today as Mindy (my sister) and I were trying to soothe him while he thrashed, he would scratch us each in turn.

Bee-bi is fed up.

Will let you know something as soon as we do.
