Levi is out of surgery. They were able to make all the repairs they planned on. The next 24 hours will be pretty critical. Dr. Mack seemed pretty pleased. Dr. Sharma just seemed exhausted. They did confirm that the pulmonary hypertension is something he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. Time will tell what that means.

Thank you so much for your prayers and messages of encouragement.

I'm floored by your moving and profound blog. Our family has been praying for Levi, we are so thankful he is out of surgery, and will continue to lift him and the rest of your family up in prayer. I am touched by your expressions of doubt, faith, hope, and can relate in some small way to your comments on having lived mostly in the past and future, not the present. I know God will supply all of Levi's and your needs. Lots of love coming over the ocean from Ryan and Laura Ashlock and kids

We practice early to bed at our home but could not tuck ourselves in until we got a report on Levi. It seems that our God is indeed in control and He has, once again, done what He does best. So wonderful to hear that all went as planned in surgery.
Love and blessings of rest,
Gerhard and Trish
